Our Team

 Loren has been a commercial insurance and bonding broker for over 40 years. In February 2021, he and his daughter left their previous Insurance agency and started their life long dream of a family owned insurance business. A community volunteer for years, he has been President of his Rotary club, Chairman of the Board for the Chamber of Commerce, previous Bannock Development Corporation Board of Directors, past Chairman of the Board and current Board Member at Citizens Community Bank. 

In his time away from the office, Loren enjoys playing golf, playing music, and spending time in Mackay, Idaho with his wife Celia.

 Shelby began her insurance career in 1994 at Mutual Insurance Associates and became a licensed insurance agent in 1996. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Idaho State University in 2001. She has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 2014.  In February of 2021, Shelby and her father Loren opened Crystal Summit Insurance Services.
Shelby and her husband, Jeremy enjoy traveling, early morning CrossFit classes, and spending time in the outdoors cross-country skiing and mountain biking.  Shelby's greatest joy is supporting her two teenage children, Ben and Avery, in all of their endeavors.

 John Azzola is an agent at Crystal Summit Insurance Services, specializing in business insurance, workers compensation, and group health. John was born and raised in Pocatello, ID. He graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor's in communication with an emphasis in advertising. John has been in sales and marketing for over 20 years, with the past 13 years at the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Marketing and Communication. John serves as a board member on the Gate City Rotary Club, he is a Chamber Chief, and is a past graduate and facilitator of Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck.  John and his wife have three wonderful children ranging from age 10 to 17 years old. In John’s free time he enjoys golf and playing music.

 Amber joined the Crystal Summit team in 2022 after a 15 year career in the construction industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Idaho State University in 2010 and plans to pursue her master’s in business administration. Amber was born and raised in Pocatello and loves this area and community. Amber currently serves on the board for two local non-profit companies in Pocatello. Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys and is often found at swim meets, basketball and football games. When not attending all the various sporting activities, Amber and her family enjoy spending time outdoors or working on home improvement projects.

Brittny began her insurance career at State Farm as a Customer Service Specialist and became a licensed producer in 2021. She began working for Crystal Summit September of 2021 as a Customer Service Representative. She brings excitement and great customer service to Crystal Summit.

Brittny and her husband Jake love to ride motorcycles and travel, they also like to spend time with their 5 kids and family.

Maddux graduated from Pocatello Highschool in 2022 where he played baseball for the Thunder. Maddux has since hung up his cleats and started his new lifelong passion in golf. 

Maddux started working for Crystal Summit Insurance in the summer of 2021, took a short break to play his final baseball season then returned to Crystal Summit to continue building his career in insurance services.

Meggan became a licensed insurance agent in 2010 and joined Crystal Summit in 2023.

In her 13 years in the insurance industry, she has worked for several independent agents throughout Idaho and Washington focusing mainly on the construction industry.

Meggan and her husband of 15 years enjoy traveling, watching football, going to Heavy Metal Concerts and spending as much time as possible with their 4 year old granddaughter.

They live in Shelley with their two spoiled dogs Stanley and Mildred.

When not working Meggan can be found in the kitchen baking cakes, cupcakes, and anything else that is delicious all while listening to and solving the latest True Crime Podcast.
